Filosofía El concepto idealista de alienación En sentido estrictamente filosófico, se entiende por alienación el proceso o estado en que algo o alguien es o se convierte en un extraño para sí mismo (lejano, desconocido, ajeno, otro). Al ser concebido y puesto como si fuese un objeto, el sujeto no se reconoce como tal, sino que permanece extraño a sí mismo, ajeno a su propio ser; esto es, alienado.
